Redwood Park

Taylor | Mar 26, 200212:09 PM

My wife and I ate at Redwood Park last night. Overall, the service was excellant, but despite having reservations at 6:30 P.M.and the restaurant was half full, they tried to put us at a table for two in the middle. I was not happy with that so requested another table which they honored. The appetizers were lobster ravioli and the trio of soups. We thought that the soups were average and the ravioli slightly better. The entrees were Dover Sole and lobster prepared three different ways. They were prepared as well as could be expected. The dessert was shared and we chose the homemade ice cream which was accompanied by a carrot cake and something chocolate. The dessert was the highlight of the meal. Would we return? Probably not. We will go back to Chez Panisse instead.
