Thought I'd take a moment to compliment Redemption on a very nice meal tonight. I have no idea why I've waited this long to try it, knowing Chef Greg Picolo's food from the Bistro at the Maison de Ville. He hasn't missed a step: Creole fried eggplant sticks with powdered sugar; fried oyster bruschetta; smoked soft shell crab with sauce choron; baked crab-stuffed shrimp; sautéed grouper with green pea risotto and flying fish roe beurre blanc; chocolate crème brulee; and pistachio cheese cake. We at like kings in the glorious Christian's-of-old renovated church setting. Locals like me who haven't gone...go!
