Any recs for a place with a good ol' fried shrimp boat?

I remember a place we went a long time ago in New Orleans (20 years, maybe?) -- seems like it was called "Lakeview" or "Riverview" or something like that. It was one of those bare bones kind of cafe looking places with an apparent proximity to a body of water. ;-)

Anyway, they had all sorts of things to eat, but I had the most wonderful shrimp boat. It was practically a whole loaf of this wonderful, buttery bread - scooped out to make room for crisp, tasty fried shrimp.

I believe that this place closed a long time ago, but I'm hoping that there are other places with this same kind of thing. I've had shrimp boats before in other places, but the buttery/crusty bread was really good.

Any suggestions?
