Ok, pretty much the only whites I've ever liked were Montrachets. Thing is the last time I really indulged with any frequency was back in the mid to late 80s. Back then iirc, I enjoyed both Louis Latour's Puligny and Chassagne Montrachets that were probably from the early 80s.
So, if I wanted to revisit the world of Montrachets can anyone suggest which producer and vintage is worth drinking now?
There is a slim chance I may decide to make a dinner to enjoy with the wine. Menu is not set but I do have some veal chops I need to use up so if ya got a good pairing for veal chops, I'd be grateful for that as well.
