Recommendations for memorial day weekend trip to NYC

I'm a DC chowhounder heading up to NYC for a wedding over memorial day weekend. I'm staying in Manhattan on Friday a bit south of central park (at the muse hotel (kimpton)). Then I'm staying in Brooklyn for the next two nights. I need a dinner recommendation for Friday night and lunch recommendation for Saturday. My husband and I enjoy really good food and have been to some phenomenal restaurants (French Laundry, Spago, Ad Hoc, etc). We also enjoyed more laid back restaurants as well, most important thing is good food. As well, I'd like to be able to make a reservation. I'm not into that whole show up and wait 90min for a table thing that is becoming too common. We don't want to spend crazy $$ (i.e., french laundry style), but $30-40 for an entree is perfectly fine. Only food restrictions are that I'm pregnant, so I'm trying to avoid raw seafood (big bummer!).

We may consider going to Pok Pok NYC as we went to Pok Pok in Portland, OR and it was one of my most favorite meals ever. Only thing is that they're only doing dinner service as of now and I don't want to schlep to Brooklyn on Friday night...
