So, I will be taking 4 Chefs to Dinner in late June. It is a thank you to them from me.
It does not have to be high end, they love food, but I want it to still be a treat.
I am leaning to the 8 course tasting at Georges California Modern but that is at the edge of my budget...I mean really at the edge.) I was also thinking Table No. Ten and just ordering a ton of Food and sharing or possibly Solare and doing one of the tasting menus..waiting to hear back on prices.
Things to consider...no Sushi (one is a Sushi Chef and incredible), No La Valencia (one turned down a Sous Chef offer and there is a little bad vibe there that he went somewhere else and I do not want it to be uncomfortable for him) I was thinking Juniper and Ivy but a lot of the Chefs visit the Sushi Chefs restaurant and while we would get hooked up, he's been there.
Wine and drinks are not really a factor as one Chef does not drink, I can only have 2 glasses of wine or a cocktail (health) and the other two are about the same.
I'd like to walk away $700 or under inc. tax and tip. I looked at menus and did the math and Sans drink GCM comes a little above the others under.
