Recommend FLEXIBLE Santa Monica restaurant 10-40 people? Preferably yummy.

OK, so it's like, totally bad form to ask for RSVP's to a funeral. But afterwards, we want to take everyone out for Sunday Brunch in Santa Monica (say around 2pm, give or take). Any suggestions for a place that is so flexible that they could take a reservation for "10 to 40 people" and still provide cheerful service?

Ideally it would be nice if they also had:

1. Sit-down service (I'd consider a nice "Sunday brunch" buffet if waitstaff provided drinks and so forth, but "order at the counter" is definitely out.)

2. Nice atmosphere (anything from fancy down to cute/funky), quiet enough to talk but casual/noisy enough that they won't mind us floating around from table to table to chat (among our own party, of course!). Absolutely no televisions. A private room is not neccessary (unless we need it to escape televisions).

3. Food a little special or out of the ordinary, or at the very least a wide range of choices for different tastes.

4. And this isn't necessary, but the ideal would be within a mile or two of Arizona & 6th (which is a few blocks from the pier).

We don't need good parking.

Thanks so much for any suggestions (you don't need to know for sure it would work to suggest it!)
