I had a delicious dish at a Mexican restaurant, on the buffet--chicken chunks, mushrooms, and spinach in a creamy white sauce--maybe with some mild cheese.
I asked the waiter what it was, and he asked the chef. Told me it was chicken adobado. I have looked at recipes, and they all seem to be a red sauce, so I think he gave me the name of some other dish.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I tried my hand at it the other day, and it was good, but not as good as the restaurant version. I seasoned with a little cumin and crushed red pepper.
