Thanks for the rec for Thousand Oaks

Beachchef | Jul 9, 200510:15 PM

Someone awhile ago, gave me a rec to go to Gino's Trattoria on TO Blvd in Thousand Oaks. Thanks so much!! We went with a group, also had some picky-eater kids with us and everyone "loved it". Small place, not expensive, but the food is out of this world. Great pizzas, and good variety menu. I had the veal shank, and it was excellent. The owner is a kick. He comes out and and with a loud but friendly voice, tells the whole restaurant what the specials are. If anyone is speaking, he won't continue. He is a character!! He came over and said he would put together appetizers for us, and they also were great. Nice guy, fun place, and a good wine list also. Thanks whoever told me about it.
