Any Real Rhody Food in Newport?

For lunch ideally I would like to find a Newport place that specializes in authentic Rhode Island cuisine, like cabinets, awful-awfuls, clamcakes, stuffies, and Del's Frozen Lemonade. I fear that the rootless cosmopolitan yuppies who have invaded Newport for the weekend bar scene have stripped the place of local color, leaving a deracinated cuisine of little authenticity or interest. Names like Black Pearl, the Mangeled Magenta Parrot, and Le Bistrot don't inspire much confidence. They might be decent, but they could be anywhere.

Oh well. We'll just have to hop across the bay and eat in Naragansett or Galilee, but not at George's.

Does the Newport Creamery still have a branch in Newport?
