where to read good restaurant reviews

Thanks to all the hounds who gave me neighborhood advice earlier in the summer, the g.f. and I are now officially ex-New Yorkers (for now, anyway!) and are happily ensconced in Andersonville.

We're enjoying trying out the local restaurants and jotting down ideas from this site but would also like your opinions on local papers and restaurant reviewers (let's face it, chowhound can be exhausting! somethimes you just want ONE opinion to get you started).

The Reader seems like a good paper but we went to one of their highly recommended restaurants on our first trip to Chicago in July --Yoshi's--and were sorely disappointed. A slab of flavorless, lukewarm tofu with watery sauce that takes 45 minutes to arrive and costs $15 isn't my idea of dazzling fusion cuisine...

So, hounds, when you want a professional opinion about new or interesting restaurants in town, where do you turn--other than here?
