I've been getting really into Burmese and Lao food lately and I am really intrigued by the cooked and raw vegetable and herb plates that I hear accompany meals. How are these eaten? Do you just grab a bunch of cilantro or cooked greens and eat it? Dip it into sauce and eat it? Is there some other way?
I'd like to incorporate more veggies and greens into my diet and feel this might be a good way to do it, but I'm not one to just munch on greens and herbs.
What are your favorite ways of eating this? Any recipes for sauces you particularly like with it?
