Why don't Ramen places pack up your leftovers to go?

EdwinNJ | Dec 11, 201407:36 PM     15

Saw this on Tommy:Eats blog, and while that's a New Jersey blog, I thought I'd ask here, figured there'd be more food-knowledgeable people.

Why don't most ramen places do the typical to-go bags for leftovers if you ask?
What is it, they don't want to take up the room it takes to store some containers?

This is one of those idiosyncracies that tugs at the brain. WHY? WHY? WHY?
