Is there any way to figure out how much cooked quinoa you would have to eat to equal a given weight or volume of cooked meat protein? My understanding is that quinoa has a complete human amino acid combination, much like a meat protein. Is there any way to say that, for instance, one cup of quinoa equals the protein of 1 ounce of beef or 2 ounces of chicken or whatever?
I may be talking apples and oranges here, but is there any way to get a general comparison? This has to be a vegan issue which surely abounds on-line. I must be Googling the wrong question. Please send me in the right direction! Thank you.
