Thanks to all for your suggestions - you have a great city and I can't wait to come back soon.
Was there for such a short time, but here goes
Sunday Brunch - Sonsie (Back Bay) - this was wonderful. From the breads they serve before to the coffee after, a great dining experience. Had a very good chipotle ravioli and a transcendent butternut squash pizza with walnuts. Pizza was one of the best dishes I've had in a while
Sunday Dinner - Pomodoro (Brookline) - we had a reservation for Bricco in the North End, but the snow scared us away from going into town... sorry...
Pomodoro was good - they made very good drinks, had great bread and olive oil and served a delicious salad. The (vegetarians here) main courses were good (zucchini linguine and mushroom risotto) but I've had better here in NY on many occasions at a lower price. Chocolate mouse after the meal was appreciated and pretty good.
Monday Breakfast - a place I can't even name. A little cafe on Charles St. in Beacon Hill. Enjoyable - had a broccoli and cheese egg sandwich and good coffee.
