Question About Thickening Soup with a Rue, then Freezing

I am making an Hungarian Mushroom Soup, wherein I will be making a rue, then adding milk--and adding this to the mushroom/chic broth/spice mixture.

Question: I plan to freeze most of this soup. Will the thickening effect of the rue hold after freezing/defrosting?
