Question for Sushi of Gari Aficionados

MMRuth | Dec 20, 2004 02:19 PM

When I recommend Gari to friends, I always warn them that it is expensive. We feel lucky when we spend less than $200 for two, including about $30 of drinks, not including tip. We usually order a la carte from the sushi items not listed on the menu, but served in a Gari Special. My husband is a big uni fan, so I'm sure that contributes to the bill, and we may well eat more than most.

So, my question is, what do you think an average tab is at Gari's? I realize this can vary dramatically, but it would be useful to have some other feedback to use when suggesting the restaurant to friends.

Thanks ...
