I just enjoyed reading the thread on burgers with my dinner, & was wondering if anyone could expound on any experience with quail on the menu. I've had it twice, both in Manhattan restaurants, & in the two instances, seemed quite different. Like maybe the ribbs were removed. Do Quail even have any ribs? I confess to shooting and eating a robin once, in the suburbs, & might recommend it except for lawn pesticides. Said to be an old Southern dish, actually.
