Pupusas at the Hollywood Farmers Market

I just discovered these on Sunday and can't wait to go back. I ordered one pork and cheese as a snack but then got right back up and ordered another one after I wolfed the first one down. And the pickled cabbage and salsa-that-looks-like-sweet-and-sour-sauce were perfect accompaniments. Didn't need the sour cream though.

Long line but well worth it, esp. if you munch on the roasted corn (2 stands down) while waiting. For $2 for a 5 inch disc of fried non-greasy goodness, it's a bargain. Wash it down with coconut juice from the Korean stand across the way.

The Hollywood Farmers Market is on Ivar between Sunset and Hollywood Blvds. Sunday a.m. to 2 p.m.
