Pumpkin pie cake--original recipe?

This month's Cooking Light, in their little regular column where they "lighten" readers' favorite family recipes, has a recipe for "pumpkin pie cake." The lightened version looks okay, but the description of the original, pre-lightened recipe sounds so good that I'd prefer to make it. Epicurious doesn't yield a pumpkin pie cake recipe; does anyone have one? It sounds like a hybrid chiffon/sponge cake--it's got both oil and eggs in the batter--with an icing that contains both cream cheese and butter.
