Recently, I've noticed boneless, skinless chicken breasts selling way under $2.00 per pound. When I was in my local mega market, I noticed that there were many options of boneless chicken breasts, from high volume chicken factories to organic free range, and varying price ranges. I asked the person in the meat dept about the differences and the low priced chicken factory option was pumped up with at least 10% volume of chicken broth.
I was not surprised, but it made me think about chicken and what's a real product and value.
What's your experiences with chicken, do you buy this pumped up stuff?
