Pulled Pork Basket at NoNo Kitchen

casspants | Jan 28, 2008 08:12 PM

Unfortunately, I had been avoiding NoNo Kitchen for a while because honestly, something about that block on 7th Avenue is just unappetizing. Is it just me or is there a trash tornado always sifting around? Anyway, finally went in the other day and am so glad I did. The first time there I was eyeing the Pulled Pork sandwich, but went for the Southern Fried Chicken instead, which was fantastic--I even brought home the leftovers (which were ample, the plate comes FULL) and split them with my husband for dinner the next day (still good.) We also ordered the crispy pork and apple chip appetizer, which was one of the best things we had. The next time I did order the Pulled Pork and it's a fantastic deal for $10--includes fries and cole slaw. My husband and I even ordered it for delivery a couple days later. The pork is tender and the BBQ sauce is excellent. Also, their gumbo is good.
