Hello restaurant goers,
Gabe and I have an intense emotional and gustatory connection with Prune. But we need to break out of the Prune rut. Love it, but as non-red meat eaters, the menu is a bit too limited to go very frequently and still be tantalized.
Can you all recommend some places that resemble Prune? I'm talking in terms of the food, although we love the ambiance, too, despite the cramped tables and sometimes not stellar servers. What we love is the relatively simple, straightforward fresh ingredients made interesting by strategic pairings (i.e., the white anchovies, celery and marcona almonds appetizer is exemplary in this regard). And I should mention that the reasonable prices (for the quality) are another factor in our Prune love.
