Private Luncheon at Ly Michaels

Bashful3 | Jan 29, 2005 03:31 PM

A private luncheon on a Saturday at Ly Michaels exceeded expectations. They helped me select a three course menu--choice of soup, choice of beginner (salad or chicken satay) and four choices of entree--striped bass, walnut chicken, carmelized shrimp or sauteed vegetables. Veggie sides and brown rice were varied and tasty with each item. Coffee/tea was included, all for $17.95.

We had what amounted to a private room,as they opened special for this luncheon. Service was gracious, unhurried and professional. China was lovely; portions ample, and every single dish was right on target, including the soups. My guests were very pleased.

They permitted me to bring in birthday cake, which they served graciously. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, but particularly on a Saturday afternoon.
