My husband won a gift card for $100 that can only be used in a few stores and not for a giftcard. We have narrowed our options down, and one we are considering is a pressure canner. I am an experienced and avid waterbath canner, but also a foodie type who is not interested in plain canned green beans (in other words, I am not a survivalist, nor do I grow much that needs preserving in my garden). Do I want a pressure canner? What can I make that would excite me or blow my socks off?
