I have a preseasoned cast iron skillet I've never used

I want to use it to make chicken (the crispy pressed chicken recipe from Flexitarian.)

Should I use the pan as is? Or is it important to season it again?

I don't want to waste time and heat up the oven to season the pan again if it's really not necessary. But will if it's important to do.

Anybody with experience with the preseasoned cast iron?
