Prayer Assembly Church BBQ

tried some wonderful smoked turkey necks from this bbq setup. friend brought it for me to go. so didn't have the fun of going to actual location.

anyways, nice meaty necks full of nicely tender meat, not terribly smokey, with a really good well-naunce bbq sauce, i'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is better than the phillip's sauce, except the sauce at the church bbq could have a some more spiceyness and kick to it, but the tomato flavors, brown sugar, spices, all come together in spades and coalesce into a delicious whole. this is one of those sauces where one can drown in the goodness of it and actually drink mini-cups or shots of it. the potato salad was good but nothing terribly special. also, will have to try the links or beef ribs next time.
it's a good find.
