The only problem with eating at the H-Mart food court is that, no matter what you order, you are hyper-aware of all the great stuff you didn't choose.
I love the bustle of people waiting for food, or in the middle of eating, asking people sitting near by what it is that they ordered. Everything just looks so good, enhanced by the clear pleasure of most of the eaters.
Last week my son and I stopped by on Wednesday on the way to the movies. We each ended up ordering the "Special Ramen" (A25). I honestly don't think I've ever had a better broth in a soup. Spicy, slightly milky-looking, it worried my son because he doesn't like cream soups. The milkiness comes from the miso soup base. Besides noodles, the meats included beef rib, pork, duck (!), and a head-on shrimp. Don't forget to take the california roll (from the sushi case) that comes with your soup. We had ours while waiting for the soup to be cooked.
Everything at the food court is made to order. Have had quite a few dishes from each of the "kitchens" (Japanese, Chinese, Korean). Only slight disappointment was a vegetarian bibimbap, mostly because it came in a (cold) metal bowl rather than a hot stone).
