Prague: Part 1--not just food

We arrived in Prague on EasyJet from England (£20 one way!) the first week in December. Grey and cold -- -2 C but felt colder-- we bought a 15 day Prague transportation ticket, good for the underground (partly closed), trams and busses. Paid for itself the ist 2 or 3 days. Our first food stop was luch at The Grand Hotel (Hotel Europa) and chose the intimate chandeliered and mirrored art deco dining room, slightly more costly than the tavern out front, but worth the price. Wait staff was English speaking and appreciative (only one other couple for lunch). The roast pork was average, the goulash very good, the 'experience' unforgetable. With no starters and no dessert, the total price for two, with beer, about $25 U.S. Highly recommended for the beautiful room and service. Restrooms spotless.
