Pork pork and more pork......what to do!

jrvedivici | Jan 4, 201506:39 AM

Well the New Years Day loin of pork wasn't a big hit, so I had a ton left over. (Not hard to imagine when I had bacon wrapped beef tenderloin next to the pork the people passed it by). Excessive left overs or just waste really drives me crazy, so I thought long and hard on what to do with the left over pork, solution, Asian food. Home made won-ton soup, steamed then fried post sticker/dumplings, pork fried rice and a sweet and spicy pork stir fry with boc-chow (not pictured).

Only mistake(s) rolled the dough too thin for won-tons so a few tore apart making the broth too cloudy. I would have left the fresh ginger out of the won-tons instead of using the exact same stuffing in both pot stickers and won-tons. The sweet ginger flavor was better suited for the pot stickers. All in all not too bad for my first attempt at won-tons and pot stickers.
