Would my pork butt / pork shoulder cook faster if I took the bone out?

Yikes! My parents are coming over in two hours and I just put a four pound shoulder in the oven! It looks like I'm in need of 2 more hours to have it come out right. I put it in on the convection setting at 325. Can I increase the temperature or cut the bone out to save time?? Please help!
