I bought a few slabs of baby back ribs last Monday (3/16). I cooked one slab and forgot about the other. I just found it in the back of the fridge and the sell by date on the package is 3/25.
Is it just me or does this seem like an abnormally long amount of time to keep pork? This package says "Previously frozen" which I find even more worrisome.
The ribs are vacuum packed. I just opened them and they smell fine, but some of the fat looks juuuust *slightly* grayish.
Okay to cook and serve?
