Pomodoro Pizza (240 Kearny St., SF)

I have had lunch at Pomodoro Pizza once or twice a month for the past 5+ years. For $5.50, you get a slice of pizza plus a mixed green salad. The servings of both are very generous.

The pizza comes in 6-8 of the usual varieties, plus the daily special slice. While it may not be 'great' pizza, it has a thin crust that has some crispness to it. Unless I am tempted by the daily special, I usually get the sausage. Today's special was goat cheese with strips of red bell pepper. It was VERY good.

The side salad is lightly dressed with a balsamic dressing. For a little more, you can get a Ceasar salad instead of the mixed greens.

They do a lot of takeout/to go business, but there is counter seating and 12-15 tables as well.
