Yesterday I drove into Point Reyes Station, and there at the southern entrance was a new (to me) place, Point Reyes Roadhouse, where the Marin Sun Farms place had been. I had lunch there, choosing the chicken sandwich with side salad (fries optional), $23. Chicken, cheese, bacon, avocado. It was excellent, very large and a bit unwieldy with all those ingredients so I wound up eating it with a knife and fork. Was it worth that high price? Yes if you want to eat that much food (the sandwich was larger than appears in my photo); I thought it would be fine for two people. I would have preferred a smaller option. The salad was also excellent (and large); the vinaigrette dressing had spicing I loved but wasn't familiar with. I couldn't find a website or an online menu. It's currently a breakfast and lunch place, closing at 3 pm.
