We are going to NYC early May for 3 days and have a few recs., however uncertain if they will be too touristy or quite fit the bill of what we are looking for.
We are in our late 20's, early 30's and are staying near Central Park South (58th and 7th I think) We need some good places for breakfast in the nearby area, as I'm not too fond of travelling much before my first coffee. We are open to travel almost anywhere for lunch and or dinner (keep in mind we are on foot, taxi or train) as long as there is something else to do or see in the area other than the restaurant we are eating at. We will need one high end/good quality restaurant, another mid-range restaurant, the best pizza place and a few "must trys". P.S. I can only stand lineups for food if it is REALLY worth it.

So far here have been my suggestions, please let me know what you think of them:

- Shake Shack, Burgers I guess?
- Katz deli, pastrimi, obviously.
- Pizza...John's?, Lombardi's?, Grimaldi's?...Please help me pick.
- The little Owl for dinner
- Fanelli's cafe, sandwich or salad
- Pommes Frites, for some late night fries
and
- Serindipity for dessert.

No recs so far for high end/good quality resto, any ideas?...Thx !
