Looking for suggestions, folks. As a native New Yorker the stakes have been too high for me to properly investigate (Tim once brought home some lox from Saul's that was crusty at the edge! YUCK! But was that an abberation or is their lox generally sub-par?) I realize that there's no Zabar's in the East Bay, but is one shop or pre-packaged brand better than others? I need to know by Sunday morning.
