I've had a pizza at Tuscano's, 291 Third Ave. in Bklyn. (near Carroll I think) and it was the best tasting I've had that I can remember. It's maybe a toss up between Tuscano's and Sally's in New Haven. I am a native New Yorker from Manhattan recently moved to Brooklyn. I drove up to Sally's 'cause I heard from more then one source about it. I'm driven for good Pizza. Tuscano's has the best crust anywhere. Better then Sally's, Di Farra's or Lombardi's. It has that crunch and melt feature that doesn't travel (Maybe if you let it cool 1st then travel prior to reheating , better than delivery) I think it is worth traveling for even from New Haven for this Pizza. I wouldn't say that for Di Farra's which I think has quality stuff in it but lacks a certain zest and the crust is not as good even though I saw him putting a sprinkle of $15 a litre olive oil on the pie. I still need to taste the other type pies there like "Grandma's" or "Sicilian" but I'm talking about their regular round cheese. And Yes you can get slices too.
