Lately, I have been seeing pizza makers prominently displayed at my local Wegmans. Has anyone had any experience with them?
I do like making my own pizza because it allows me to be a bit healthier about it than an average store bought pizza (whole wheat crust, no preservatives, no sugar, etc). Right now I use my cast iron skillet as a pizza pan. But there's something special about a real pizza oven and what it does to pizza that I just can't duplicate. I'm wondering if these pizza makers might allow me to fix that. But I also wonder if they are very useful beyond pizza.
