Decided to spread my search to the south of Hicksville, since I was getting further and further to the east. Found Vito's on Carman Ave. At 1.5 mile from my house, it was just as close as the leading contender in Hicksville, Calda on OCR (they are a far second, since they have more of a "manufactured" crust and use way too much cheese). Vito makes an excellent regular pizza. Crust was crisp, not too thin or doughy. Poor Grandama pie though. Just a regular crust in the square shape with a little more Garlic in the suace. Well, I guess I can deal with this. If I need a Grandma slice, then I'll just have to take a field trip to Elmont to see King Umberto.
