Saw a commercial for something called Pizza Presto, a new gadget that sits on your counter top and spins the pizza under some kind of broiling gun ! I know, I know -- it's probably a Ron Popeil-type of gimmicky waste of money, but......could it actually produce great results ? Anyone tried this, used this ? Is this device only for finishing the pizza after you've cooked it in the oven ?
While I'm at it, does anyone have a sure-fire way of creating really good thin crust pizza using a standard home oven ? Is a pizza stone the way to go ? Is the secret in making the dough ? Please pardon me if this is something covered well in other threads.
