Piperade and garlic

Have a dear friend coming in from NY and want to try Piperade. But she hates garlic (I know, but the friendship has survived anyway). Are there some garlic-free dishes on the menu? And what are the acoustics like - haven't been since it was Pastis, and that was filled with hard surfaces, which would have been noisy if it were ever busy.
