Is Delfina as good as people say it is? Is Piperade as good? I know they're different kinds of food, just wondering overall which one would people choose. Looking for a memorable experience with a bill no more than $100 for two-great ambience would be nice.
Also, I've heard that Aqua is actually better now post Michael Mina. Is that the case? Is it good? Better than Farallon? I love the ambience of Farallon, and I know my wife would, but does the food live up to the setting? How are the non-seafood items there?
Also, is C&L good? I looooooove steak-had a great experience at Emeril's Delmonico Steakhouse in Vegas last fall and was wondering if C&L's steak is good. People seem to have high praise for Aqua-with the same people running C&L, I wonder if they would have any early 'bugs' worked out?
Last but not least, my wife is a bit of a fussy eater and I know she'd like the menu at One Market-is it in a good area to take an after dinner walk?
I appreciate any replies...people here are very helpful. I just can't stand the thopught of spending good money for less than perfect food. The only SF restaurant I've been to is Aqua four years ago, so my experience is very limited.
