In case anyone else is a fan of Giovanni Perticone, the longtime chef at Splendido, he has just opened a place in North Beach called Pinoccio. It is in the space formerly occupied by Tavolino. I have not eaten there yet, am going next week. Looked over the menu, though and it looks good. His risottos are exceptional.
