Fantastic meal last night. Elevated Chinese in a comfortable, quirky, fun setting. Jokes all over from the menu to the bathroom. Opened by a veteran of Din Tai Fung, a Taiwanese chain.

Seafood/Pork Dumplings - Smaller than your average, more compact, but potent. Wife was wishing for bigger (what else is new) but I thought they were great

House Special Shrimp - Fine! No issues with the perfectly cooked tiger shrimp and sauce, just nothing new flavor wise.

Niman Ranch Cumin Ribs - The funny description on the menu is “tender, fall-off-the-bone - jocelyn on yelp" is spot on. But its all about the seasoning that made us almost eat the leftovers with a spoon. Almost no heat, but great flavor. A must order

Dan Dan Noodles - Excellent. More Niman Ranch pork, flavorful heat, nice hints of star anise and peanuty sauce a la Han Dynasty.

Snow Crab in Chinese Restaurant - Outstanding! I think this is the dish to get. Glass noodles with fermented bean sauce. Plenty of crab, some still in shell, but the sauce so flavorful I would order this even without the crab

Eggplant in Garlic Sauce - Exactly what it says. Simple but nicely done side dish.

Cant wait to try the rest of the menu
