My oldest friend has requested a "Tapas Extravaganza", for a special occasion, and I've wanted to try these two in Long Island City.
For reference, Allioli, in Williamsburg, has some tasty stuff, but it's not authentic or special enough that I don't mind it's inauthenticity or chilly vibe. Convivium is soooooooooo good, but I was just there, and we ate our way through almost the entire tapas menu! (What a wine list, hugh?)
Please, help. I have not been to either Pimenton or El Boqeron: Atmosphere, wine list,price and service are all important, but please, please tell me about the food.
P.S. Any other suggestions would be welcomed too...
