I've been making my own pickles. I just use a bit of salt to make a brine, and submerge the vegetables in . Then wait
Sometimes at the end the vegetables taste great, on other days I find the same batch a little off. But then the next day I'm fine with it again. There's an added flavour or scent I guess. Sometimes I like it.
Id like to know if you, who make your own pickles this way (fermenting, not by vinegar or canning), find a similar experience with your pickles?
Despite this with the veggies, the liquid however is always such a joy to drink.
