Pho Bac-Elmhurst

Ivan Stoler | Nov 22, 2000 12:47 PM

I tried Pho Bac in Elmhurst last night. Wasn't impressed but I only had 2 dishes. 1 was a Hanoi Pha soup as an appetizer that was was served cold not hot and was actually slimy. That was a new experience for me. I've had greasy soup but not slimy. Then I had beef wrapped in Hawain(spell check needed) leaves. This is the old beef wrapped in grapes leaves. Dolmas the world over. I'll give it another shot though. I went back to Las Brasas on 37th Ave this week for another shop of red meat. Not as good as the first time and for these prices I might as well as eat in Manhattan.
