Where old people get live crab in SF

TomG | Dec 2, 2005 05:25 PM

Just picked up 3 very lively crabs, weighing a total of 7 lbs. for $3.00/lb at the Alioto-Lazio Fish Co. 440 Jefferson St.(Fisherman's Wharf). This place is a viable option for shoppers who don't want the Chinatown, Clement St. hassle, or who don't live close to a Ranch 99. The crabs are in very large tanks and are fresh off the boats. And best of all, there's free short term parking right out in front.
