Peninsula or San Jose. Casual, fun, non-asian?

myst | Apr 7, 2011 09:31 AM

I saw a post with this same question from Feb 2011 and no responses.

I have had so-so luck with the peninsula and was hoping for some new ideas for fun small group dinners:

Successful to date:

Coconuts in Palo Alto
NOLA in Palo Alto
Martin's West RWC

Ok - might go back
Pampas - Palo Alto
Counter - Palo Alto/Santan Row
Peninsula Creamery

So-So - probably won't go back unless its for drinks
Three Seasons Palo Alto
Kingfish - San Mateo

My friends like woodfire pizzas, good drinks, great burger places and are not very "houndy"

So looking for fun burger or BBQ or crab shack type place where you can have a cocktail and either throw darts or feel "hip" while eating. Maybe even Indian food.....
