Peep - a new sleek Thai restaurant in SoHo

Was strolling around SoHo today and spotted a very attractive restaurant called Peep. It's a long room with lots of mirrors and chrome. I went inside to get a card and a menu and found out they're only open one week.

The menu looks very interesting and I intend to go before it gets discovered or written up. The menu is broken down into First and Second Plates ($4-6) Main Plates ($10-18), Noodle & Pasta Plates ($9-12) Sauted Plates with a choice of chicken, beef or tofu ($10) and Shrimp ($11). Side Plates range from $1 to $5.

Here's a sample of the menu: First plates include tamardind glazed shrimp, crispy gingered calamari, duck and sauted eggplant. Second plates include curried mussels, shrimp semolina fritters, crispy leek spring rolls. Mains: peanut crusted salmon, baked crustacean claypot, grilled lemongrass chicken breast, deconstructed 'hung-lea' blackened strip loin.
